This course explores sustainable design strategies for greener, healthier, and more livable communities, based on EPAs Greening Americas Communities initiative. Participants will learn how to incorporate green infrastructure, urban tree canopies, stormwater solutions, and public space revitalization into their projects. The course provides actionable strategies to mitigate urban heat islands, improve air quality, and engage communities in sustainability efforts.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
